All families wanting to arrive the day before the course can do so with no problem, but there will be NO availability at the premises of the course. Therefore, tou can reserve one room at this hotel, which is the closest from the Centro de Convivencias, where the course will take place:

IMPORTANT: All NON-RESIDENTIAL students (no families, only the student) need to pay an extra fee for "use of facilities" of 92€ for 8 years old onwards and 46€ for students 4-7 years old. This fee it is compulsory to use the premises and it is obliged by the Centro de Convivencias.

NON-RESIDENTIAL families that want to have lunch at the premises can do so with no problem, BUT these meals need to be reserved at the moment of application. The non-residential facility extra fee includes the lunches for all days of the course, BUT PLEASE RESERVE THEM IN ADVANCE.

ABOUT THE SUMMER CAMP

Music Suzuki Camp La Rioja is an amazing summer camp open to all Suzuki students (violin, viola, cello, piano & drums) from all levels. We also have a special music program for babies (0-3), with SECE (Suzuki early childhood education).  

Every child in the camp has to be accompanied by their parent(s)/guardian(s).

Every child will be timetabled for 3/4 teaching sessions a day. This will include:

A Private Lesson - During private lessons teachers work individually with 2/3 children in a session. This popular and interesting format enables children and parents to learn from the individual tuition of other children.

A Suzuki Group lesson - This is the traditional Suzuki group session and play-together, always instructive and fun.

1/2 of the following classes, depending on age and ability - Dalcroze, Music Mind Games, Orchestra, Chamber Music. Ethnic percussion and Body percussion.

Lessons will start everyday at 9:30 and will finish by 14:00. *If time is tight during the morning classes, then some classes will be arranged during the afternoon (16:00-18:00).

Solo Concerts - We offer everyone the opportunity to perform in a Recital Platform.

Parent Talks - Inspirational parent-talks will be given during the course.

For Parents - Organised music-making is arranged if parents are interested. Parents can also play in the orchestra with his/her child, so if you wish, bring your instrument with you.

HOUSE AND ACCOMMODATION

Centro de Convivencias Maristas is a centre managed by the Hermanos Maristas, a religious entity dedicated to educate children and adults as good hearted human beings. The facilities of the centre have private, double and triple bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and equipped with towels, pillows and pillow cases and all bed linens, dining room, Wifi, meeting rooms, spacious teaching rooms, a big garden, sports facilities (tennis, basketball, football) and an outdoor swimming pool.

Full payment is due by the 30th of June. Refunds can be guaranteed (except the 50€ deposit fee) if you notify by writing the reasons why, before the 1st of July.
